Dashing in to wish my f-list a very Happy Christmas as I know I won't have a chance tomorrow. Also many thanks to yeuxdebleu, bellewood and julchen11 for the lovely Christmas cards and a special mention to ladysnaps - Gwen, you got this old lady's heart fluttering madly this morning when I received your card with the indescribably beautiful pic of you know who!!

Life has been terribly hectic over the last few weeks for various reasons and I've had far too little time to spend online. I fully intend to remedy this in the new year but in the meantime I apologise for having to dig up a pic from an entry I posted many Christmases ago. A much younger Elijah of course but oh ... there goes my heart again:D

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and if you don't celebrate it have a lovely holiday.

Oh, that cake is amazing!! If I owned it I'd never want to cut into it, it's much too beautiful! Thank you so much for the birthday greetings and I must apologise for taking so long to reply. After Christmas Eve I had no time at all to get online until last night and I'm still trying to catch up with everyone's kind greetings! My birthday and Boxing Day are probably the busiest days of the year for me as I always do the Christmas Dinner and the Boxing Day supper but despite that it was very enjoyable. Hope you had a great Christmas. *hugs*

You're most welcome and I hope you had a great Christmas, birthday and Boxing Day. You must be feeling back to normal if you're doing so much cooking and entertaining. That sounds like a lot of work. I'm glad you found time to see all the birthday wishes that were posted for you. There were a lot.

Many thanks Mews and don't worry, it sounds as if you have the same kind of Christmas as me where there's no chance whatever of getting online for several days, that's why it's taken me so long to reply to everyone's greetings!
