Re my post yesterday, its possible I may be able to get a clearer scan, thanks to Q: Best West Ham moment? A: It's got to be getting to the play-off final by beating Ipswich. I was back in the States so I had to look on the internet to find the score and I was just so pleased for the fans because I know how much the Premier League means to them. Q: And the worst? A: Obviously losing to Crystal Palace in the play-off final. I was sad for the team, sad for the supporters. I can only imagine how intense the atmosphere must have been, and also the devastation of losing. Q: Favourite player? A: Matthew Etherington was the player who caught my eye. He's young, exciting and can obviously play at a higher level. Q: Favourite goal? A: The best goal I saw last season was Don Hutchison's free-kick against Watford. We won 4-0 and I went on the pitch at half-time to be introduced to the fans, so it was a great day all round. Q: All-time hero? A: I don't know the history of the club in great detail but in one of the lounges at the club I read a great deal about Bobby Moore. He was obviously a legend to everyone at West Ham and in England. Q: Do you sing at games? A: I don't sing because I'm worried I'll be spotted or I'll make a fool of myself. I now know all the words to I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles though, and a couple of the more colourful ones too. Q: Fancy your own West Ham song? A: It would be great if the fans sang something about me. I'd like to think it would be positive but if one of the other teams came up with something I'm sure it would be some kind of derogatory hobbit chant - I'd look forward to that. | ||||||||||||
