Just had to post this because it has really made my day - it's great news for anyone who has ever given special gifts to Elijah but wondered/doubted whether he actually takes them with him. HE DOES!!! He made a special request at LF&CC for his gifts to be sent on to him!! I'm in a great rush right now but should be able to post more about this tomorrow.

Also, my two dear friends from Prague who came to LFCC have just started their very own LJs. It would be so lovely if some of you could just pop in to say hello:) They are

It's wonderful news - I've given him quite a few things in the past. I was wearing a striped shirt on the Sunday and yes - I am short, about 5'1". I'm also very ancient!! I wish I'd seen you - I must be very silly because I knew of quite a few of my LJ friends who were going who I'd never seen a pic of - I don't know how I thought I was going to recognise them!!

trianne said quite loudly is "not-alone" supposed to be here this weekend? There was no response from you so then I thought maybe I had been mistaken. I should have got the guts up and tapped on your shoulder. But I thought it would come out odd saying are "you not_alone" if it wasn't you. Doh!

I had heard it quite authoritatively somewhere else long ago, which is why I have been adamant about being allowed to present gifts. Of course, it's nice to have it confirmed, and to know he still does.

Even though I remember Elijah saying he kept his gifts at Collectormania, I did wonder if he was perhaps just being kind - in fact, he couldn't really have said no!! This was very positive - I will post again about it but in short the girl who was with him on the Saturday replied to someone's report saying she heard him discussing with one of the organisers that he wanted his stuff boxed up and sent to him. And that is all the way from the UK - so I'm sure he'd do the same in the US. But I always had a gut feeling that he did, anyway:)

That's nice to hear. I suppose he may have at least looked at that little thing I gave him from all the KD Faculty people then. Some how this cheers me up after all that ELF business, and I wasn't even going to ELF.

It is nice to know, isn't it? Although I've always had a gut feeling that he keeps things. Re ELF - when I told him that he would be missed there, he looked totally confused. My guess is that somewhere along the line either Creation or his PR people have messed up - and my money's on Creation:)

Great news indeed...

This was the first opportunity I'd had to give Elijah something so it's good to know that he wanted things sent on to him rather than them being discarded. Didn't think he'd do that, though. He appreciates his fans :)

hey there.

im the girl that was sat with elijah on the saturday of lfacc. firstly... if you want to quote anything from my other posts go ahead. i dont mind.

secondly what happened was this...

elijah had so many gifts that i personally packed them into a box. elijah asked Showmasters what would happen to them all and SM said that they would get the address he wanted them to be sent to and ship them out to him. elijah seemed pretty pleased with this so from that i guess he wanted to keep his gifts.

now what happened after that i do not know. i cant say if the same thing happened at other events or if it will ever happen again. of course none of us can know what happens to the gifts once they get shipped... but im sure it would be easier for elijah to go over them in detail in his own time.

i know that it means a lot to some people to know that their gift dont just get thrown away by the organisers at the end of an event. and in this case i can safely say they were looked after.

Hi!! Many thanks for getting back to me - I will use your quotes in my next LJ update. I've always had a feeling that Elijah does keep his gifts - but because of what SM say on their site I was a bit worried about this - so yes, this really is very good news. Thanks again:)
